Almsgiving Collections

The Catholic Community of Waukesha is proud to support St. Vincent de Paul for our 2025 Almsgiving Collections.

Our community is supporting our four St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) conferences this lent through monetary donations. All checks can be made out to your home parish with “Lenten Alms” in the memo line, and turned into the collection baskets during Mass. You can also donate through PushPay. Please choose your home parish, click other, and type in “Lenten Alms". We ask all monetary donations be submitted by Sunday, April 6, 2024.

There are four active SVdP conferences in Waukesha. The most important work is the Home Visit in which two Vincentians meet with a person in need and seek to help them in the best way possible. Last year, the four St. Vincent de Paul conferences in the City of Waukesha made 1176 visits and provided $245,788 in aid that helped more than 3,000 neighbors in need.

Other Vincentian work includes supporting SVdP programming; an evening meal at the HOPE Center, the Summer Lunch Program, the Jail Ministry, and the Getting Ahead program that focuses on financial stability. Over the next few weeks, we will update the page with different ways to support the SVDP in its mission to grow in holiness and alleviate human suffering.
