Sobre El Camino Neocatecumenal/ About The Neocatechumenal Way
La naturaleza del Camino Neocatecumenal es definida por S.S. Juan Pablo II cuando escribe: “Reconozco el Camino Neocatecumenal como un itinerario de formación católica, válida para la sociedad y para los tiempos de hoy”.
El Neocatecumenado, en cuanto itinerario de redescubrimiento de la iniciación cristiana, se realiza normalmente en la parroquia, «ámbito ordinario donde se nace y se crece en la fe», lugar privilegiado donde la Iglesia, madre y maestra, engendra en la fuente bautismal a los hijos de Dios y les “gesta” a la vida nueva.
El Neocatecumenado consta de las catequesis iniciales y del itinerario neocatecumenal, inspirado en las tres fases de la iniciación cristiana: precatecumenado, catecumenado y elección, divididas en etapas, jalonadas por pasos marcados por algunas celebraciones.
Las catequesis iniciales y el itinerario neocatecumenal se basan en los tres elementos fundamentales de la vida cristiana, resaltados por el Concilio Vaticano II: Palabra de Dios, Liturgia y Comunidad
Modelo de la comunidad neocatecumenal es la Sagrada Familia de Nazaret, lugar histórico donde el Verbo de Dios, hecho Hombre, se hace adulto creciendo «en sabiduría, edad y gracia», estando sometido a José y María.18 En la comunidad los neocatecúmenos se tornan adultos en la fe, creciendo en humildad, simplicidad y alabanza, obedientes a la Iglesia.
El camino neocatecumenal llegó a Waukesha en septiembre de 2015, un equipo de catequistas de Chicago trajo la catequesis y hoy hay cuatro comunidades formadas con alrededor de 140 feligreses involucrados.

The model of the neo-catechumenal community is the Holy Family of Nazareth, the historical place where the Word of God, made man, becomes adult, growing “in wisdom, age and grace”, submitted to Joseph and Mary. In the community the neocatechumens become adult in faith, growing in humility, simplicity and praise, submitted to the Church.
