Sacramental Preparation
The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist are celebrated in the second grade and the Sacrament of Confirmation in the 11th grade. Parents participate in their child’s preparation and may be asked to help in other ways. For Sacraments, contact the Director of Life Long Faith Formation in the fall.
Confirmation catechists work in teams of two with a small group of 10-12 teens during the year of Sacramental Preparation and discernment. Lessons, materials and training are provided. Catechists are responsible for
scheduling and facilitating small group discussion on faith and Catholicism. Catechists also attend a weekend retreat with their small group, and support their small group at the Sacrament of Confirmation.
